Fulfilling from TaroStack

Pick and ship in TaroStack, and Shopify marks the order fulfilled.

What it does

Shipping a store's order in TaroStack fulfills it in Shopify. TaroStack takes the stock from the shelf and lot you shipped from.

When to use it

Use it when your warehouse works in TaroStack, particularly if you track lots and want to choose exactly what leaves.

Before you start

The order has come in, and the shelf has enough stock for what you're shipping.

Steps

  1. Open Sales and open the order.
  2. Press Ship.
  3. Check the quantity and shelf. A store's order starts ticked on Ship All.
  4. Press Ship at the foot of the sheet.
  5. Look at the order in Shopify after up to a minute.

What you should see

TaroStack shows the order as Shipped, with the message Shipped in full. Shopify marks it Fulfilled, and Shopify's count drops by the same amount.

Good to know

You can also use Pick list on the order, or the picking list for a whole morning's orders, as Picking and shipping explains.

Shopify fulfills the order from the location you matched to the site you shipped from.

Shipping less than the order fulfills only that part. See Backorders and partial shipments.
