Asking TaroCore questions
Ask about stock, orders or what to make, and the answer comes from your own records.
What it does
TaroCore answers operational questions from your own records. It can also open the right form, filled in, when you ask it to do something.
When to use it
Use it when you'd rather ask than go looking: what's low, what's late, what to make on Saturday, or what happened to a lot.
Before you start
The answer depends on what you've recorded. With no reorder points, for example, nothing is low.
Steps
- Open TaroCore.
- Type a question in Ask TaroCore, then press Ask, or press one of the suggestions.
- Read the answer. Press a row to open its record.
- Press the tabs for ready-made answers: URGENT shows what needs you, and TODAY says how the day is going.

What you should see
Asked "what's low", TaroCore lists each item below its reorder point, with its amount and its point, then offers Draft the orders. Asked with nothing low, it says "Nothing is below its reorder point."

Good to know
Questions that match your records exactly need no credits. Harder questions use TaroCore Credits, and your plan sets how many you get. See Plans and billing.
TaroCore shows only what your role can see, and it can't do anything your role can't.
