Creating your business
Sign up, name your business, and set its currency and time zone before stock moves.
What it does
Creating a business gives you your own TaroStack, with its own items, stock and people. You become its owner.
When to use it
You're starting with TaroStack, or you run a second company that should keep separate records.
Before you start
You need an email address and a name for the business.
Steps
- Open app.tarostack.com and choose to sign up.
- Enter your email and a password, then name your business.
- Open Settings, then Business profile.
- Check Time zone and the business's currency, then press Save.
What you should see
Home opens with Get set up, a short list of first steps. Each step opens the page that does it.
Good to know
A 14-day trial starts when you create the business.
The currency can change only until stock first moves, so check it before you record any stock.
A person can belong to more than one business and switch between them under Settings › Organizations.
