TaroStack is a small software company in Honomu, on Hawaiʻi Island. We make inventory, purchasing and production software for people who make things in batches. These articles exist because the same questions come up again and again for those people, and most of the answers online are written for companies a hundred times their size.
They're written by Koa Sterling, who works here as a product specialist and runs a small business of his own.
Every article starts from a question people really search for. We use AI to help with the research: finding the regulation, the buyer's requirements, the numbers, and the way people actually phrase the question. Then Koa works each example through with a calculator, checks every fact against the sources listed at the foot of the article, and edits the whole thing before it goes out. Nothing is published unread.
When an article says what a regulation requires, it links to the regulation and gives the date we read it. Rules change, and we are not your lawyer, your inspector or your food safety consultant. They have the last word.
We sell software, and each article says where TaroStack fits. It says so after the full method has been given, and the method works without us. If a spreadsheet is all you need, the spreadsheet is on the page.
If something here is wrong, tell us. Koa will fix it, and the article's "reviewed" date will change, which only happens on a real edit.
